In 2023, our small team of three (husband, wife, and best friend) wrote down this mission: Empower people to have a healthy relationship with their finances, free from fear-based decision making.
We're firm believers that the best decisions in life are ones made free from fear. Of all the budgeting apps we've used over the years, none struck the right balance of friendly, realistic, and easy to use. We started building Ranger because we wanted a budgeting app that was right not only for us, but also the many friends and family we'd seen struggle with finances over the years. A tool where we could push boundaries and build off of sound fundamentals.
So we started building Ranger, and have kept at it since. We don't have any funding, we don't have any brand deals, we aren't trying to take over the world - we just want to build a tool to help people.
